Awards - LAAHU Legislative Excellence Award
The LAAHU Legislative Excellence Award is only made in years that one or more committee members have met the award criteria. The Legislative Committee Chair and Vice-Chair meet to determine if it is appropriate to present the award based on the specified criteria. The Committee member must have accomplished the following:
  • Adopted a legislator
  • Attended NAHU’s Capitol Conference
  • Attended CAHU’s Day At The Capitol
  • Attended Legislative Committee meetings consistently – unless absence excused
  • Attended CAHU’s Legislative council meetings
  • Contributed to CAHU PAC
  • Contributed to NAHU HUPAC
  • Participated in Operation Shout
  • Clearly demonstrated an “Above & Beyond” level of commitment
