Our Vision
To be recognized by our members as the ultimate advocate for health insurance professionals.
Awards
Are you good at rewarding people for outstanding work? Your main job will be to help select and motivate fellow members for the variety of awards made available through our local, state and national organization.
Continuing Education Committee
You will help to identify current topics of interest, develop content and to promote the continuing education programs made available through LAAHU.
Communications
Communications is the key to any successful relationship. We need your assistance to coordinate, create and provide insight on our communications with LAAHU members.
Legislation
What topic is of more concern to our industry than this one? If you have the special talent to get involved by dissecting existing and proposed legislation with the purpose of helping our members understand what we are currently faced with we want you!
Marketing
Creative, challenging the norm, building on the experience! Does that sound like you? If so, we want you to join our adventure on the Marketing Committee.
Media Relations
Good opportunity to use your public relations expertise when you represent LAAHU in working with local media to help get our message out to the public.
Membership
Sets out to increase LAAHU's membership. Do you thrive on taking on challenges? As good as we are we need your capable help in getting new members to join. Help lead the way!
PAC
The core of any organization is the ability to show your strength through your numbers. Help us grow The Political Action Committee and then guide us in where we should direct expenditures.
Programs
A fun yet challenging committee. You'll help to develop a variety of programs that LAAHU can offer to its members each month. Different speakers, exciting topics, new sponsors oh my!
Public Service
It is all about involvement. The more we can give back the more our association grows in stature. We need your help to identify and promote our public service opportunities.
Special Events
If you have the capability to make others feel special we need you. LAAHU is known for its innovative Annual Sales Conference & Golf Tournament. They are both successful because of people (like you) who work behind the scenes to create a unique and fun experience for all.
