LAAHU continually lobbies, educates and supports our elected representatives who can positively influence public politics that affect our industry. Through our state and national associations (CAHU and NAHU), we are the only benefits association with a full-time lobbying presence in Sacramento and Washington, D.C. LAAHU is dedicated to protecting the private healthcare delivery system and by working with CAHU and NAHU we stay actively involved with state and federal legislators offering solutions to the insurance issues you and your clients face every day
Health Care Reform
LAAHU has created a document with questions we (LAAHU Public Affairs Committee) will be addressing with our carrier partners on health care reform. Please take a minute and review LAAHU HCR Questions, and if you see a question that has not been addressed, please email your question to Sima Reid at sima@twentytwentyins.com. Our timeline is to send our questions to the carriers is January with the intention of having the Q & A on our website by the beginning of February.
